Heh a doctor. Unfortunately, because of the silly recession, we can't afford doctor much; only the medicines. So I'm taking pills for that. I'm kinda okay though even if I don't take them when I'm supposed to. I'm taking them less, so that's progress. As for my courses, thank you, and I hope you pass yours too. I can't believe you're going to be a film maker though... That's great if you like it.

Yeah i've never really been a huge fan of films but it's a good way to express art and i'm pretty good at writing up scripts.
I would post a bit of one but i don't introduce wall of texts in the thread.

Gosh I just feel so young; everybody here is still older. I didn't know you were in Band. But then again, I wouldn't be surprised if you were. I'm still in Orchestra, and I love it so much. It's my greatest hobby/extracurricular activity. The Band in our school is going away too for their band trip. The Orchestra already went; however, I didn't go because first off, I already went to Walt Disney World three times, and right now, we're low on money, which is new to me.

Hey Ross, maybe you could actually post that "bit" of script and put them into those things called paragraphs so they won't look like walls of texts.

I've just been working with the Army Reserve lately, it's only part-time but it's the best I have right now with the way the current economy is.

Here at R-E though I've lurked here and there, there doesn't seem to be much going on with Rare right now, but I'm hoping for a new game sooner or later.

Right the miss Luce, i'll post a sample draft i wrote a while ago - this is a part for my film coursework:
EXT. PARK EARLY MORNING
Foggy, empty park complete with silence - several trees and a bench.
Calm, relaxing atmosphere.
Two men, dressed in dark winter coats are sat next to each other; ADAM and NOEL BRADY.[i]

NOEL:
I don’t know, seems a bit ridiculous doesn’t it? I know they always make crazy claims but breast milk instead of cow’s in ice cream? Just sounds like they want people to notice them more, (*******) hippies.
ADAM:
Well it doesn’t sound too bad to me, I can think of a few girls who’s milk I’d have.
NOEL:
Really? You’d actually ‘have’ it would you?
ADAM:
Well if it’s in the ice cream, you’re not really going to notice are you?
NOEL:
I think you and I have a disagreement, breast milk isn’t for me.
ADAM:
So what’s so normal about a cow’s? Surely that’s more disturbing? You’re drinking cow’s milk, COW’S MILK.
NOEL:
So? It’s good for you!
ADAM:
Human milk’s more nutritious.
NOEL:
Says?
ADAM:
The internet!
NOEL:
Right. I don’t care if that’s true or not, I’m not going near breast milk! Ice cream or not!
ADAM:
You’re quite defensive aren’t you?
NOEL:
So?
ADAM:
What’s so bad about breast milk?!
NOEL:
It’s disgusting, why would I want to drink the secretions from a woman?!
ADAM:
Back to the “yeah but you drink it from a cow” point...

[i]Noel’s tone of voice changes, he begins to whisper

NOEL:
Listen, a couple of years back I went out with this girl, she had a 2 year old son, his father was a real bastard, used to hit her and was a bit of an alcey (slang for alcoholic). I remember seeing her at this house-warming party and we were chatting for most of the night til early morning. After a bit of drink we both went to the bedroom at my apartment. I knew she had a kid at this point but she was so good looking I just had to nail her.

Adam laughes

NOEL: (CONT'D)
Anyway’s to put a nasty story short, she was riding me and I had her...front in my face. She was getting so carried away that I don’t think she noticed, but she was lactating!

Adam’s face sickens slightly.

NOEL: (CONT'D)
I didn’t want to stop you know? But I was getting her milk in my face, I was bloody tasting it! I was almost mesmerized by it! Was not a good night.

Adam’s laughs from shock

ADAM:
What the hell did you say to her after?!

Groaning noises begin to sound from behind the two men, they ignore it.

NOEL:
What? Nothing?
ADAM:
Nothing?! But surely she knew afterwards, did she not mention anything?!
NOEL:
Nope, I still see her now and again.

The groans get louder, ADAM and NOEL begin to show irritation.

NOEL: (CONT'D)
She’s a great girl, I think she’s going out with some guy now, they’re getting married soon.

The groans continue, NOEL sighs from being interrupted and stands up, he picks up a baseball bat which was hidden by his side on the bench. NOEL and ADAM walk behind the bench.

CUT TO: BEHIND BENCH, NOEL AND ADAM STAND BY THE SIDES, IN THE MIDDLES SITS A BEATEN UP, UNRECOGNIZABLE MAN WITH BOTH ARMS TIED TO THE BENCH’S METAL FRAME.
NOEL shows no different changes in mood, he’s laid back and relaxed, he holds the baseball bat pointing downwards with one hand. He speaks to THE VICTIM

NOEL: (CONT'D)
Good morning, how are you feeling?

THE VICTIM is facing downwards, he groans and chokes continuously.

NOEL: (CONT'D)
Look up.

THE VICTIM stays staring at the ground.
NOEL grips the bat tightly.

NOEL: (CONT'D)
Look up! NOW!

THE VICTIM raises his face, his nose is broken, most of his face is covered in flaked, dry blood.
NOEL focuses into THE VICTIM’s eyes, he analyses his fear and hatred. NOEL points the bat upwards and readies it for the swing.
THE VICTIM opens his mouth, his voice cowers.

THE VICTIM:
You’ll regret this. Just wait.
NOEL:
For now, this is what I've been waiting for.

Noel strikes the bat into THE VICTIM’s face.

I turned 16 a few months ago. I'm in the last year of school (Year 11/Sophamore) and I have my GCSEs coming up very soon. I'm going to go into Sixth Form in September to study English, French, Latin and History for A Level. I have no idea what university I'm going to go to, but I get really good reports and grades, and my school say I have the potential to go an Oxbridge uni or abroad. I'd love to go to New Zealand, Australia or America. I have played guitar for 4 years, and I've won competitions for it and people tell me very talented. I've been in various garage bands but I'm looking to seriously try and make it in Sixth Form or University. I don't really play games, I lost interest about 2 years ago. I've still got a PS1, N64 and a Gameboy Advance though, and I'll dig them out once in a while.

This is bizarre, for me it's been 4 years since I first discovered RE. I was 12 years old and I hadn't even started secondry school/junior high. It feels like another life time ago and at the same time, just yesterday. Things have happened, times have changed and many have come and gone since 2005, but I have enjoyed and still do, coming here. Even when I lost all real hope or interest in computer games and Rare, I didn't leave because I felt like I had grew up with you guys. After all, we've been friends for 4 years. It's great to hear you've all got plans and you're still around.

OT:This is a really good idea for a topic Lucy. Maybe we should start a project to find old members and see what they're doing, what they thought about RE etc? Then we can get the current members posts and capture it for posterity. Plus it would be really interesting to find out whatever happened to the guy who faked his death and Ninja Tedi.

Busy with lots of things, really...as others have said, I drop by every now and then. You've probably seen the posts on the main page more than any posts in the forum. In fact, I think I've had fewer than a dozen in the last two years........

This is a wonderful time in my life. I'm under a month away from graduating from the University of Kansas, and will be moving out in about two weeks.

Most importantly, on May 30, I get to marry the most wonderful woman in the entire world, my best friend, and the love of my life! We've been dating since before I registered on this forum years ago, which if you look at my registration date means quite some time. She means everything to me, and I'm so excited and happy that we get to be together!

Glad to see that everyone's still here!
