This game is getting mixed opinions (Many people here seem to like it so far, though), some love the new direction, some hate it. Some are iffy on it, while others have already preordered the game. So far, what do you like about Nuts and Bolts? What do you dislike? What are you neutral on? Express your feelings here.

*The fact that we are getting a new Banjo-Kazooie game in the first place. I wasn't expecting Rare to get any further than that teaser trailer, to be honest. tongue.gif I'm very happy to see that Banjo-Kazooie are finally returning, even if the game is so much different than the old games.

*The new art style. Say what you will, but I actually like the new art direction. Well, atleast what the characters look like, I'm not 100% certain on the "mechanical" looking levels, but I guess I'll have to see some more levels before I make any assumptions. Anyway, I really like the new character designs, they seem a lot more expressive to me. Other than Mumbo and Wumbo's new designs, everyone seems spot on. I can't wait to see what the rest of the cast look like.

*How Rare are trying to keep the Banjo feel, even if the gameplay is different. The environments seem Banjoy enough for me, and the fact that we can (Probably) explore Spiral Mountain again with these new graphics is great. The grumbles returning also makes me happy, I was afraid Rare would think that grumble talk is too "last gen" for the Xbox 360.

*Vehicle creation. I know it doesn't make much sense for Banjo to fly in an airplane when he has Kazooie, but it still looks fun. If it's true that we can make virtually anything that comes to our minds then I won't be disappointed.

Dislikes

*Objectives sound and look really tedious to me. The vehicle creation thing I am fine with, but so far the objectives I have seen and heard about seem like they wouldn't be much fun. The coconut collecting one looks like it could be a pain, and I don't like physics puzzles very much. So far the only objectives I like the look of so far are the Mr. Patches battle and the ramp jumping one, and even the latter sounds generic.

*Kazooie being pretty much useless. I mean, this new direction is great and all, but couldn't Kazooie still have SOME use? It'll be funny to hear her ***** about her uselessness the whole game, but eventually it might get depressing knowing that we'll barely get to see her outside of cutscenes.

*I don't how out of the 3 levels announced (Nutty Acres, World of Sports, and Banjo Land), only one of them actually "makes sense". It's hard to explain, but I mean that Nutty Acres is the only one that's actually on land (Despite it being made by LOG), while the other two are themeparks and stadiums. I hope that there are more levels like Nutty Acres, which looks like a lot of fun to me. Especially with the volcano with two entrances.

Indifferences

*The whole premise of the game. I know I have a lot of pros, but if the vehicles or physics based objectives aren't fun, the entire game will flop.

*The lack of moves. It's very disappointing, but if vehicles are fun to use, or if by some miraculous miracle you somehow regain some of your moves back somewhere down the line of the game, I won't be disappointed.

*The enemies, so far I don't like a single one of the enemies. They're all super speedy robots that look very generic. Banjo-Kazooie enemies sometimes talked to you and had funny banter, but these robots don't look like they can really bring anything humerous down the line conserning dialouge. I could be wrong though.

The gameplay: Although it's not exactly the gameplay we expected and came to know and love, it still looks fegging amazing, I fantasize about playing that, even fantasizing about it gives me a rush, it looks so wacky and new.

The art direction: I agree with thunder, I love the new looks of banjo and kazooie. It actually matches their personality better than it did in the previous games IMO. Gives them that "I'm extremely goofy but I'm having fun," look.

Story: the story still seems pretty old school, and will give me a warm nostalgia feeling inside.

Dislikes

Lack of platforming: as stated above, the vehicles look AWESOME. But perhaps 50/50 would of been better. I'm suspecting that if we want to actually take time to collect notes theres going to be more than 20% platforming, but it still won't be as much as I would've hoped.

Moves are gone: Flying was awesome, I don't care if we can fly in vehicles, kazooie flying around while carrying banjo just kicked ass.

Likes: Customization. I'm all for this, I can't wait to spend hours thinking of awesome vehicles I could make.

Xbox Live. Taking those vehicles for awesome multiplayer modes on Xbox LIVE is gonna be incredible. I can't wait.

Backgrounds. The graphics are awesome simply put

Dislikes: No moves. Unacceptable. Kazooie losing ALL of her moves is a crime.

Character Designs. Banjo and Kazooie aren't even the worst of em. The only decent one is Grunty, Who looks like I imagined her to 8 years ago.

Boring looking challenges. Like Thunder said, the only challenge that looks fun so far is the Mr. Patch battle. Lets hope we see some more fun stuff at E3.

Some WTF things. These are just quotes from Rare's website that make me uneasy.

"Luckily, any blustering that Kazooie might have done over her confinement is blown away as soon as she gets her feathers on Mumbo's magic wrench, and all the responsibility that comes with it."

What? I thought her bitching was gonna remain!

" However, it's not all change in Banjo-Kazooie country, as Banjo will still compete for Jiggies to unlock new destinations"

Compete? Since when did Banjo COMPETE for Jiggies?

"Each Jiggy extracted from the levels must be taken through Showdown Town to a safe area while avoiding the town's police force."

This one was from Wikipedia. But if it's true... WTF? Since when were jiggies contraband?

So I guess I'm worried right now, but we'll just have to see.

1.) The ability to build a vehicle that looks like...well...anything you want.

2.) Level design and character design. I've always loved the patchwork look, and they've got that going on. And the characters look absolutely stunning. I couldn't have asked for a better looking Banjo.

3.) Physics-based challenges look and sound great. There's a lot of fun to be had there.

4.) Returning characters and ridiculous story just make me feel right at home.

5.) We've got Kirkhope and gang on music, so that's obviously going to be amazing.

6.) Don't forget about the Stop N Swop references all throughout the game.

7.) The characters still speak gibberish. That's a good sign.

My worries: sad.gif

1.) Will it still have the same Banjo feel to it? It looks like a great improvement, but will it fit?

2.) The levels are within Showdown Town. But do we get to run around in Spiral Mountain?

3.) Will vehicle customization get in the way of exploration?

4.) Are we going to get the same humor, or will it be stunted some?

My dislikes: dry.gif

1.) Rare didn't really ease us fans into this new game idea, which is causing a lot of fuss.

2.) So far it looks almost too different; Rare hasn't showed us long time fans enough to keep us from worrying a bit.

3.) That's it, really. My biggest gripe is how Rare is handling this game. They're not doing horrible, I just think they need to really give us fans something to make us really happy instead of focusing almost entirely on a new crowd. I hope to see a demo soon and more information on the levels and the gameplay.

My likes:

Great graphics and better character design.

Creating your own vehicles and making as many as you want sounds pretty good.

Bad ass multiplayer and online experience which I can play with my friends and other people around the world.

Like what Mr.Patch said the gibberish stays.

Returning characters that we know and love.

Competing for Jiggies sounds awesome can't wait to kick my rivals ass.

My dislikes:

No transformations to be honest I'll miss them.

You can't play as Mumbo that sucks I liked playing as him

That's about it I hardly have any dislikes about the game.
