Take it however you want it.

Well I`m back now I have the FULL game..and it Sucks just like I said it would....why didn`t they call it Banjo Kazooie:VIVA PINATA...serious this game is nothing like the classics from the N64 versions which breaks my heart they tried and they have failed......awfully I suggest everyone rent this game boycott RARE for their Idiocy..on this...too much emphasis on vehicles and like I said months ago getting your bucket of lego out would be just as entertaining.....

The missions are poor and fare too repetative
Graphically not bad
Where the voices
20 hours for a game as complex as this is poor

Mr.Patch
Ouch! So I'm going to take that as you weren't impressed with the game. Am I right? Well I'm going to defend it by saying BK: N&B is probably one of THE greatest games Rare has ever put out. I mean it is remarkable how beautiful and artistic this game is. It is honestly the most creative and outstanding level design I have ever seen in a video game. It truly is inspiring to me. And the gameplay is fantastic! I find myself out of my vehicle and getting frustrated because I'm not zooming past obstacles in a plane! And that's a good sign. I've spoiled the beginning of the game for myself and I like how they explain the moves not being used. I think Rare has really covered this game well and I can't wait to get it and get to the ending and see what's in store for me!

P.S. I really want Banjo on XBLA asap!!!

Well obviously you aren't going to admit that it doesn't suck like you said it would... considering how much of an ass you were and how sure you tried to make yourself sound.

Just in case you haven't noticed, you seem to be the only one who says it sucks, it has received great feedback from both critics and fans.

I've only played the demo and I love it

now go and start an "I hate banjo kazooie nuts and bolts" club. And don't be surprised when no one joins

The game has recieved an average score of 82% which is decent but the average player score is a lot lot lower somewhere around the 70% mark.......I`m afraid I`m one of those...

But don`t think for one min that I wouldn`t be man enough to go back on my Pre Release comments at all.....I was so hoping that I would be as the first 2 were classics.....RARE just aint what they used to be, Period....

You don't like to make much sense do you. You're pre release comments stated that you were 100% sure that this game would suck major p3nis and that it would crash and burn. an 82% average is a great score, and 70% player scores isn't bad either, yet you say that you still are holding to your pre-release comments, despite the fact that they have pretty much been disproved already.

70% for such an amazing franchise has to be classed as a failure....I already stated that I dont like the game in my eyes 70% is not worth a purchase......

I`m waiting with bated breath for your percentage score that constitutes a game sucking.......

I think this snippit of UGO`s review sums this game up

“Is it just me, or have game characters lost a lot of their charm over the past 10 years?” This quote comes from Kazooie early in Rare Ltd.’s latest outing with the bear-bird duo, the Xbox 360-exclusive Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. While there may be a certain amount of truth to what he says, it is a rather ironic statement considering that charm – along with that trademark Rare wit – is just about the only thing Nuts & Bolts has going for it.

I might of taken that quote a bit more seriously if it was from a gaming critic that I'd actually heard of.
70% cannot be classed as failure. It can be classed as average at absolute lowest, and you were completely convinced that this game would be utter crap. Point proven.
Radski
This is not a new franchise, this is tried and tested...most of my pre release comments were comparison based on the quality of the previous games, and the road they were travelling down with the vehicles...that was the crux of it....

Radski is right....just admit it paul - if you ever were a banjo fan from back in the day, you would know Banjo Kazooie and Tooie were not just great games, but awe-inspiring masterpieces. There's no point in making the argument that Banjo: N&B is great just because it is rated a little higher than other average games that get a 70% on gamerankings. The bottom line is that since the past banjo games were so amazing, anything less than that from Banjo: N&B, undeniably equals a failure.

hey I'll full heartily admit that kazooie and tooie were much better, but I still don't think that N&B is a failure. BTW its about to 79%, not 70%. Rare are never going to be as good as they were, but I think they got as darn close as they could, some people were just convinced from the start that this would be utter crap, and just because this isn't as good as kazooie and tooie doesn't mean that its a failure, it just means that its not as good as kazooie and tooie wink.gif
CrazyShaman
true that i hear what you're saying

Aha-ha-ha, nooooooooooooo.

Banjo Kazooie is an all time classic game. Banjo Tooie is a decent game, but a massive disappointment. And I've only played the demo of this, but I have a feeling I'll enjoy it. Just thought I'd weigh in my opinion.

So once again the curse of Rare seems to have reared its ugly head. Peter Moore, now head honcho over at EA Sports recently said “Developers like Rare don’t really have a place in the modern games industry” and looking at Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, you can begin to understand what he’s talking about. It’s very much a game that relies on one or two new wrinkles in the vain hope that you won’t notice the gaping chasm of emptiness underpinning the whole thing. That said, younger players might instantly gel with it and be more suited to its rather simple challenges and childish humour.

Overall Score

6/10
A game that won't win any new fans for Banjo & Kazooie, and one that will possibly alienate any old fans of the series too.

Just because you didn't like the game doesn't mean BK:N&B won't get new fans and pleas old ones. Look around you we the people who go to this forum have all played Banjo-Kazooie and Tooie and do we sound crushed to you? I think not. Almost all of us have played Banjo-Kazooie Nuts&Bolts and liked it. I think it's better than Kazooie and Tooie. SO don't say that any old fans have been crushed you're the only looser here who hates the game so please don't give us your crap.

as hard as i find it to admit, I agree ohmy.gif
Mr.Patch
Maybe I'm crazy but I'm having a blast with Nuts and Bolts. Yes, it's different from the previous games, but it's FUN. It's Banjo and Kazooie in amazing worlds with kick-ass vehicles I made myself with unbelievable visuals and music. Doesn't sound like a failure to me. Honestly compared to PDZ which was a bit of a different take on another Rare classic, Nuts and Bolts lives up to the Banjo name and then some. What I'm getting at is: I, Mr.Patch, completely believe that Nuts and Bolts is probably one of the GREATEST games ever created by Rare. Period. I'm a long-time follower of Rare. I've played almost all of their classics and new wave of games and I can definitly say Nuts and Bolts satisfies my next-gen Banjo craving. Those of you that didn't like it, I'm sorry you feel that way. But seeing as how a lot of us feel the exact opposite, it must just be your OPINIONS. Just because some of you don't like the new Banjo doesn't mean nobody can.

Radski, if you don't like Nuts and Bolts play the original on XBLA. Problem solved tongue.gif .

Banjo sells 40,000 copies in its first week that`s ######, brilliant let those idoits at RARE know we won`t buy their crap banjo spin offs.......
richjohnny
I think you are a fuckwit for stating that.

The game has obviously had little to no promotion.

In the words of Chris Cheney - "Opinions can be fatal, if you're not careful"
Mr.Patch
Another great thing about Nuts & Bolts: the script. I usually can't read much because I'm pretty much always on a standard TV set, but when I get to play it on my friends plasma TV, damn! The script is really good, and Kazooie is more of a smart-mouth now than ever! I love the reactions the townsfolk have when you run them down in the trolley. Something like "Oh really Banjo? Running down your friends, is that how you roll?" It's just fantastic. And how almost every task in Nutty Acres has to do with nuts. I love it. I really think it's a shame that people like Radski don't see the beauty in this game, but it's there.

Uh, perhaps you didn't notice the lack of advertising, either that or you have no idea how the video games industry works.

I think that was one of the stupidest things you have ever said, but then again, most of what you say is pretty stupid.

No sure where you guys live but in the UK I purshase all the current UK gamer Magazines and not only did BK N&B have massive advertisment....it was also getting huge amounts of pages previewing the game for months on end.....so yet again I`m right 40k copies....lol....Brilliant...

Also if RARE want to stick a huge (Bleep) up my ass without the decency of using any lube by trashing our franchise then they deserve all the mudslinging they get...

Radski please just shut up all you do is try to make Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts look bad, but all you do is make your self look like an idiot. Just face it BK:N&B has made great success.
