Well now the leaves are on the ground, and we have all had time to reflect on just how awful Nuts & Bolts is (thanks to that Scottish Prick Lead Designer whatever his name is) I hope in amongst all of the media frenzy (oh there wasn`t any was there)....
You know why because this from day one was a game the only the DIE HARD fans wanted, everyone didn`t give a flying (BLEEP). People still love the originals which incidently still get more coverage than Nuts & Bolts....I could reinvent the wheel by the time I finish exploring what made it so poor...one thing I`m glad about though is that it`s bitten them clean in their ASSES..

PS; NOW GIVE A PROPER BANJO GAME NUMB NUT RARE MEN.....

This topic is a couple of weeks old, but I feel I have to say this. (Even though that other thread is pretty much the same)

Once I got into Nuts and Bolts, I found it to be very nice. You sir need to calm down. The feel wasn't there like it used to be, however I did enjoy the game very much. Building vehicles wasn't fun, its the fact that Banjo got to do stuff that would have never been done in the N64 games, such as fly in mid air without the feathers, and go at a real nice speed underwater.

This Banjo had a massive change, but that doesn't mean it was bad. I think they should do both styles of games simultaneously, just like Mario. I believe this would be the Paper Mario of Banjo-Kazooie. Paper Mario was a totally different type of adventure to the regular Super Mario, but they were both nice in their own way. But considering Nuts and Bolts was an obvious sequel to Banjo-Tooie, I think that the regular Banjo series should be completely restarted, to a new story. The main Characters could still be in there, but the next game could happen as if Banjo-Kazooie, Tooie, Grunty's Revenge and Nuts and Bolts never happened. And act as if the characters never met before or what ever.

I don't know how Rare are working with Banjo at the moment, but I know that they wont try and let us down.

As long as it didn't take Paper Banjo 5 minutes to walk from one side of the screen to the other like it does Paper Mario, I'd give it a try. wink.gif

Also, just think of how many people wouldn't like Banjo-Kazooie as much if they didn't give you the Talon Trot in the first level? Banjo is SO SLOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooW. Who DIDN'T TT everywhere they could? rolleyes.gif Think about it.

Red the Rhino
I only honestly enjoyed the first and GR.

Tooie was fun, but felt dragged out, like that ######ty Dinosaur one that took forever cause you had to take the train constantly.

NandB sounded like an okay idea, but the game was hella boring.

Ah. I always walked with TT. I am one of those impatient people who can't stand waiting for too long to do anything, so I was always in TT. I was always rushed with everything, sometimes I forgot some notes, too, that I was planning on going back to but forgot. D:
Kara Kong
I remember when I first got the game I thought you have to hold down Z and the C arrow to get it to work. So jumping as a little hard for a while. XD

I really need to get a computer game controller to I may once again Re-experience the joys of Banjo-Tooie with Enhanced Visuals of an Emulator.

Not that I condone emulation use (I actually do dry.gif), I own or owned every game I downloaded at one point or another.

Get a USB Charger for the Xbox 360 controller then download the drivers. Or simply use the PS3 controller.

It'll work. I used my Guitar Controller to play Frets on Fire a while back.

My opinion was that Nuts and balls sucked balls. but that's just my opinion because its a Banjo game. Had it been any other game it would have been decent but to me it just didn't FEEL like a Banjo game. It felt like an Xbawk game.

^I hate to use internet lingo, but WTF?

The Banjo game starring the popular returning characters, music and themes didn't feel like a Banjo game, but this xbox game felt like an xbox game.

Huh. Halo 2 didn't feel like Halo, as it was WAY better (Enemy AI, weapons, story, level design, etc.) and the fact that the xbox game FELT like an xbox game helped too? Gah, having something this stupid to make fun of is hard- It's like trying to make fun of a clown for wearing big, floppy shoes and a rainbow wig. It's out of my hands & I'm going to bed.

And Rare-Extreme is great as it feels like a website,

PS. Come on, Timber! You're better than that. smile.gif

All I am saying is the atmosphere just didn't feel the same. That and I can never get used to these blasted logbox 360 controllers. What I want is a Banjo game that FEELS like the first two games. I dunno if that means it needs to be a platformer or what but another thing is that the worlds in this installment of Banjo didn't seem as creative. They seemed bland, boring and un Banjo Like. They felt like they could be in just about any other platforming game. This is a RARE game and I always felt that their levels were supposed to be extra creative not some randomly thrown together junk which is what most of the levels felt like to me.
