I've been taking Muay thai and have wrestled in my past high school years. Anyone else at Rare-Extreme a little athletic?

I like my treadmill skills, I could probably qualify for the next Olympic game.

i take DT, its basically police fight training, its a mix of Judo, boxing and a few others things. I also weight train three days a week, play squash, soccer, and hockey. I do a lot of running, usually train for charity runs and stuff, not marathons, but usually around 10km.
I play baseball, softball and rugby.
That plus training keeps me well.

I had the cursor over a bit of the topic title and read the topic as, "Anybody practice a sport or Mario Kart?"
My bad...
And no, I don't practice a sport or martial art, but I do practice Mario Kart.

Not really. Sports are generally just kinda' lame to me. As far as martial arts, I do the Kenpo X part of the P90X because it's a part of the program, but that's it. If I ever get attacked, I'll just shoot the guy in the face. If I ever have to play a sport, I'll just shoot the opposing team in the face. etc

I want to take a martial art especially when I move since it'll probably be either the city or the downtown in the next town over and I just know that since I'm so weak that I'm more likely to get attacked ._.

p90x is more cardio than a martial art. Although I've got to say 90% of martial arts are useless. Especially the basic punching and kicking. They don't protect themselves, and they show newbies moves that they will never be able to pull off in a real fight. But hey, its exercise, so its better than nothing.

I'd like to try Muay Thai but I'm still trying to juggle my full-time job and life together, in the new year maybe. Coincidentally I've been an Army Reservist for nearly 2 years.
