I've been a fan of Breaking Bad for about two years now since its inception in 2008. It follows the story of Walt (Bryan Cranston, aka: the father from Malcolm in the Middle), a Middle aged man living a relatively dull, unappreciated life. He works two jobs, one as a Chemistry Teacher for unenthusiastic highschooler's who do not appreciate what he is trying to teach them, and part time at a Car Wash. His wife works from home buying and reselling items on E-bay for a modest profit, and his son is 17 years old and suffers from Cerebral Palsy.

Walt's life is thrown into a struggle of legendary proportions when he finds out he has Lung Cancer, and it appears to be terminal. Being middle class, he has the daunting task of somehow raising money to support his chemotherapy so he might live a few more years to see his pending child born and spend his last few years with her. Walt turns to a life of crime so he can ensure his families well being when he passes, as he knows the therapy will cost far more than he or his wife makes, after that, things start to spiral out of control, in very interesting manners. It has to be the best thing to come to your television since the critically underrated show, "The Shield". This show is also not garnering the attention it deserves from the public eye, I come here today to perhaps convince a few of you to tune in within the coming weeks, as the ending to season 2 was mind blowing and sadistic. Season 3 will be inevitably amazing.

This show is one of the most original television shows around, it easily competes with Dexter, 24, The Sopranos, and so on. It's writing and execution are flawless, it draws you in, wanting more. It keeps you burning the midnight oil if you would let it, it is just a true work of art that nobody should ignore. The man was not given several Emmy's for nothing, this is nothing short of a fantastic show!

Everyone I have introduced to this show has fallen in love with it, I bought my folks the season 1 DvD for Christmas, and they were wary at first and did not want to watch it, as they seldom become infatuated with any sort of television show, but they are craving more. I have shown my best friend this show, he has fallen hard for it as well, watched both seasons within three days. And numerous other members of my life, this is a wonderful show, and it is a pleasure to see Bryan Cranston in a serious role, it is quite the departure from Malcolm in the Middle. Just talking about it makes me want to go back through both seasons again! IT IS THAT GOOD.

Here is a link to the first episode, I urge you to watch this. You WILL NOT REGRET IT. If you will not click this link, I urge you to do so, and watch the first 90 seconds, and then see if your interest is not piqued. You can watch every episode for free online, just do a little digging. Cheers, and enjoy!

Dexter is awesome as well! You will surely like Breaking Bad, I promise. I've never seen anything quite like it on prime-time television. You want to like Walt, but ultimately, his actions make it hard for you to do so. Even if you can see where he is coming from, it gets pretty intense man.

Dexter is awesome as well, one of my favorite programs! I honestly did not see season 4s ending coming at all, but I am somewhat glad it happened, one character that kind of held the series down I feel. You will surely like Breaking Bad, I promise. Well, I watched the first two episodes, and I'm not 100% sure I'm going to like it. Its exciting, but its almost too dark. No humor really that I've seen. I'm going to give it a little more time, like maybe watch the first season in full. I can see the appeal in it, but most dramas I watch with a serious note about them, need a bit a humor put in or its too much. Like house for example adds the right amount of humor thats its not a comedy, but not too dark.
