To bad its only for PS2. Such a good game on such a sad system. I already have a GCN and and XBOX. I hope this game comes to the xbox like GTA double pack.... with some minor imporvments of course

lol buddyD got banned from there too. I guess he called a bunch of people talking about that advantage of having a althlon processer comapired to a pentium a bunch of geeks.... who bans for that.

Yes dark-link, Vice City is based on Miami just like San Andreas is based on Los Anglese.
Even though there is a city named San Andreas in California it is definitely not the backdrop for this game. GTA: San Andreas is based on famous cities in southern California, USA like Hollywood, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. The more notorious parts of the Los Angeles County like South Central and Compton are likely the main backdrop. There isn't a San Andreas state in the US. The game was probably named after the San Andreas fault in California which is the source of the earth quakes that happen there.

Notice the population. There is nothing special about this place.
Remember that movie Escape from LA? It was also in the 1st Superman film. This fault has the potential of reeking havoc on southern California.

There's word that it will be released fall 2005 or something. If its good enough and I can't wait for it then I'll get a second hand PS2 and just get the game that way. But I don't wanna have to do that, thats only an alternative. I prefer the Xbox than any other console to date.
