How do you get into Grunty's Industries? Yah YAh I know, use the train, but how? I know how to call the train at the worlds and everything, but how do you "ride" it into GI? I tried reading the sign again at a world, all it sed was "Are you blind?...." Yada yada yada. Plus I tried almost every attack on the 'go' switch, but obviously that didn't work. Chuffy is really ticking me off right about now.....but please help. I really need those Claw Clamber shoes and everything, cuz I wanna whoop some Ice Dragon hiney. Please Help.

There is a train-station-switch you must hit in the Grunty's Industries world before chuffy can go there. If you didn't have to do this, then you could go there anytime. Just look for that. I will edit this post & add the location of the switch shortly.
EDIT: OK, you go to Grunty's Industries and grip-grab to the pipe that is to the right of the entrance. Then jump to the ladder and climb. Go down the other side and the switch is there.

Jan 24 2004, 03:34 PM
I already hit the switch. I know where it is from a walkthrough I had. But I looked up more walkthroughs and all they say are "You can't get in through the main entrance because it's closed. So hit the train switch(Then they would give directions) and ride the train in." I've hit the train switch, and I see the cutscene where the doors for the train open. But how do I ride it into Grunty's Industries?

Hmmmm... so the station is open ... you are in Chuffy ... and he can't go to Grunty's Industries?
I am beating the game again and I just did it myself.
Here is a complete check list of what I did:
>-unlock GGM
>-get a globo to mumbo
>-fix the train with mumbo
>-enter the train
>-beat Old King Coal
>-unlock GI
>-hit the GI train switch
>-went to Chuffy in a diferent world
>-stood on the "go" pad & pressed B
>-selected GI in the menu with A
>-Chuffy took me there
If that doesn't work, then I don't know what the trouble is.
Also, what sign are you talking about in your 1st post?

(I'm the "stuck" person)

*slapping head over and over* OF course!! The B button!I tried everything except that.....o jeez I'm stupid.Thank you SOOOO much.
The sign is just the train sign. If you call Chuffy in another world, you have to read the sign. Just the one with the little train on it.
Again, THANK YOU!!!!

(I usually dont use the "Go" button, I always call Chuffy.)

Um....One more question.....about Cloud Cuckooland
The Flotus Floatii Flowers (the purple flowers that make you go WHOOSH! With purple sparkles..lol) some of them are in eggs though. I tried, of course, to hatch them with Kazooie. But it didn't work. Hatch IS Z them left C right? Cuz when I hold down Z on top of the egg, then press C, all C does is Change the Camera angle. Is it a Glitch? Cuz I need to get to the sack race with Mr. Fit. Please help.

This is actually my first time playing it. I haven't beaten it yet. I do try to find what I'm looking for before I come here. Thanx for helpin! (Please try to find that Shack Pack move though.....cuz I flew around and used Golden Glow to explore a little, but couldn't find him. He might be in one of those holes, the walkthrough I'm using sez
"Location: Right of Ladder Tunnel Ex." and I'm not sure wut that means. I've been trying to remeber any ladders....I'm gonna go take another look....

(No, I have not played CBFD. Although I messed around with my friend's)
Somewhat Update on my predicament: I found this on a website and many others as well.
Move #1 (Shack Pack) - Split up at the top of the lava side and make your way down the path as just banjo.
I warped to the top and split. Then I went all the way down and backtracked, yet still found no jamjars...

I'm new here but I was having the same problem. I go over to the Jelly, but there's no hole. I go over with banjo and everything, but I don't know where the hole is. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but if you have any advice, please tell me.

Took me a while, but the hole isn't actually in the jelly. Once you use the Floutus dude over, go to the right of the jelly wall, and Shack Pack your way in. This move is 765 notes BTW.

I just remembered that Banjo does learn Shack-Pack at HFP. Split up at the pads by the entrence and climb up and to the right. The move will be there somewhere. Sorry 'bout the hole info.

Only way to beat the Germuloids Rare is to let them latch onto you. Then move the d pad back and forth rapidly until you have them go POOF!

Since I don't have BK:GR I can't help you. Here's a few questions (not help ones):
What is the difficulty level in BK: Grunty's Revenge? I don't have a GBA so I can't play it. Is it more difficult than the other two? Does it have the same levels as the others? Spiller's Harbor sounds a lot like Rusty Bucket Bay, is it? Does it have the same moves or different ones, or do you get more?
Here's another one:
Does anyone know a website where I can download a BK:GR ROM?

Grunty's Revenge starts out very easy and stays easy until you arrive at the third wworld. From there on it begins getting harder but not that hard. You will die a lot in later worlds. Overall the game is a bit too easy though. Most are based on past worlds. Sadly there are only five worlds and an overworld. It's a bit short but worth buying anyway. Spiller's Harbor is indeed a bit like Rusty Bucket Bay. Just think of it as Rusty Bucket bay without a Rusty Bucket and now with a town.
You make moves from both BK and BT. Some of the moves serves much different purposes than they did in the original games. Yes you get a few new ones.
Don't cheat Rare by stealing their games. Go out and buy it! It's worth it and now has a great deal of $14.99 US dollars!!!

100% I would but I can't pull out $200 for a GBA and a second $200 for a game out of my arse. I just want to play the game, not go bankrupt!
When I make my multimillion dollar games with my 250+ characters, then I might be able to.

How can anyone get stuck in this game? Besides the point that they may miss a few hidden notes behind certain things.
What I want to know is what is the fastest game completion? On scribes it said it was like 1 hr 20 min. I have tried to beat it pretty fast, I even made a speed FAQ, I have not completed it yet. I may not. I have gotten 2 hrs 3 mins easily, though. I think 1hr20min is near impossible, so what is the truth?

Another thing fantanoice, get VisualBoyAdvance. I am not supporting this, but I am just saying you could use that. Isnt it legal for me to have the emulator and BKGR if I own the game?
chinesemonk
May 20 2004, 01:50 AM
^ no, Nintendo specifically states in their policies that it is illegal to emulate their games... but the sites from where you get the emulator/roms are liable if their user agreement has false info on this, wich means you never heard me say that.

(believe me, dont worry about it)
however, I do think that emulating resposibly is fine and I see no problem with it
and I hate those hidden notes

Grr! I was so close to finishing this game without help. Hopefully my question is so vague that no one'll be able to help out.
I can't find the 600th note in the game. It's somewhere in the Freezing Furnace/Grunty Industries level. Is there somewhere in this level where there's just a single musical note hidden somewhere?
Yeah, pretty vague question. I'll keep looking.
Oh! And how do you get higher ratings at the end of the game? Are you ranked higher if you can beat Grunty and Klungo without taking any damage, or something? I can never seem to get full marks.
chinesemonk
May 25 2004, 06:55 PM
I'm reading a 10 on my vague-O-meter. The only advice I can give for the last note is to look bihind things where you can move but not see yourself. There are some notes that aren't visible on the screen. You may also want to try looking around as a squid, that may help.
And I'm not sure about the rating. It probably has something to do with your time, notes, jiggys, etc.

No, not yet. I'm getting so sick of this level, too.
It's a fun game, but not quite on par with the others. Although I have to say: of all the games, I enjoyed this "closing credits" sequence the best after the game ends.

Okay, I finally found the 600th note! I decided to start a new game and catalogue the location of every darn note in the Freezing Furnace/Grunty Industries level.
Unfortunately, even though I found every note I only had 99 notes listed by the time I ended the level.
BUT I'm pretty sure that the missing note occurred in my first twenty notes in the level. That's about when I started noticing problems.
Now then....just gotta figure out how to get a top rating....

For the same reason there wasn't 20 levels, memory issues. Saving which notes have been gotten and wich haven't is a good sized bit of data and there are three games, so rare could only do so much with the gba.

Although I just noticed....between BK, BT, and BK:GR they've collected an even 150 jiggies. Makes the numbers 90 and 60 seem less unusual.
