~*Stop N' Swop*~
Now, I'm gonna do this ONE MORE TIME.
In BK, there are Sandcastle Codes to get the eggs and Ice Key:
A DESERT DOOR OPENS WIDE ANCIENT SECRETS WAIT INSIDE (Gobi's Valley)
OUT OF THE SEA IT RISES TO REVEAL MORE SECRET PRIZES (Treasure Trove Cove)
NOW YOU CAN SEE A NICE ICE KEY WHICH YOU CAN HAVE FOR FREE (Freezeezy Peaks)
AMIDST THE HAUNTED GLOOM A SECRET IN THE BATHROOM (Mad Monster Mansion)
DONT YOU GO AND TELL HER ABOUT THE SECRET IN HER CELLAR (Mad Monster Mansion)
THIS SECRET YOULL BE GRABBIN IN THE CAPTAINS CABIN (Rusty Bucket Bay)
NOW BANJO WILL BE ABLE TO SEE IT ON NABNUTS TABLE (Click Clock Wood)
So what was the point of Stop 'n' Swop, you ask? There are many people bitching about it and the number of different theories out there is vast, and no matter what anyone says there will not be a definitive answer until Rare finally decides to announce it. However, one of the more popular ideas is that firstly, the player would find all of the secret items in B-K. Then, while playing B-T, the player would remove the cartridge from the N64 and plug in B-K. This would then load up the information that was housed on the B-K cart into the N64 expanson pak. The player would then remove the B-K cartridge and then re-insert B-T and carry on playing with the secrets transferred over.
However, Nintendo felt nervous and decided it was best to drop the project, so it couldn't hurt their precious N64's.
To put all of this whole mystery in short words:
- SNS was a dropped project.
- Rare used its remains to keep people interested in BT.
- Rare gave us the items but taunted us while doing so.
If you have a questions feel more than free to ask. There's really nothing much to it, but don't lose hope!
Seriously though. Maybe Stop 'n Swop is still buried away within the two Banjo games, just waiting to be unearthed. We suspect that the truth will never be revealed, but then it's probably more fun that way. Having the issue still out there in the realms of mystery helps us B-K fans have something to talk about.
Don't you think?

Stop N Swop is a big deal. It's the biggest mystery to ever be introduced in the history of video games. You should seriously check out the Rarewitchproject forums and you'd see what I mean. Jumbles of new and amazing discoveries regarding SnS are constantly being found and searched into even as I type this. The mystery is far from over, and coming closer to being solved every minute.

Trust me, I've been to the Rare Witch Project Forums itself.

When I meant "not a big deal anymore" is that there's nothing much to it. It's true that's it's the biggest mystery to be ever introduced in Video Game history. I just don't believe in SNS as much as when I did 2 years ago.
Ahora comprehende mucho mejor? Porque yo no voy a hablar mas del tema contigo. Lo que paso, paso.

Stop N Swop is just too big of a mystery and project to be talked about in just one topic. It needs room to expand and not be potentially overcrowded. With so many mysteries revolving around it and so much always being discovered, new topics need to constantly be started to keep up with it.

Lady Luck,
Hylian is right. There are more and more things being discovered all of the time. You are not looking into this far enough Lady-Luck, and therefore do not have all of the facts. Just recently, somebody discovered a new goal of 128 Jiggies after completing Jiggywiggy's Super Special Challenge in 30 seconds or less. I was recently discovered that there were images of different colored eggs in BT that when activated, appeared in "random" places throughout the game... one of these places being the place where the mysterious seagull music plays in Jolly's. Also, about a year ago, Bottle's Revenge was discovered in BT. Extra Silo texts were discovered in BT.
Things are being discovered all of the time... much more than I listed.
As for "we suspect that the truth will never be revealed..." Who're "we?" I have never seen anybody write something like, "I don't think we'll ever find out the truth about SNS." Rare wouldn't just keep it a secret forever. One day they will either publically announce it, or they will reveal it in BK3.
When you said, "I just don't believe in SNS as much as when I did 2 years ago," what did you mean by that? How can you "not believe" in SNS when we have physical evidence of it existing? You can SEE the SNS menu with your own eyes. It's not like somebody just made up a rumor about something called Stop 'n' Swop one day, and expected people to believe in it.
And when you said, "If you have a questions feel more than free to ask," how do you expect to answer these people's questions correctly when you know nothing about SNS, don't even know how to spell 3 of the level names right, and claim to "not believe" in it?

I don't know whether this is either bashing or flaming my spelling mistakes, lack of the English language because I'm still working on my English, can't provide evidence that I believe in SNS a lot (that means the eggs and the other ones that appear in random places, such as more colored eggs within the game, and mistook my sentence when I said "I don't believe in it as much as I did 2 years ago (what I meant by that was that I was losing faith in it, not that I don't know much about it, but my faith got restored after such post!
)
You're right; there is more to SNS. Remember RdChrestdBreegull, this topic is quite a bit old and I have changed quite a bit since then. I respect your opinion overall; my advice is just try not to throw it all in all at the same time, or else I might take it the wrong way.
Yes, we all know that Hylian 1 is right. There's lots of endless misteries to SNS and rare is never gonna tell us what's the answer this mistery, no matter what.

There are some werid stuffs in Banjo-Tooie:
-Challange 16 that requaried 128 jiggies
-missing Chosen One Y cheat(screenshot from Nintendo Power BT Strategy Guide)
-BK base egg changed into cyan, green and red eggs...3 missed eggs!
-Gruntilda's Lair(Tower Room) text in memory
-Ridicously Secret Area 1...this name is strange. So there must be in game very secretly, hidden event that unlock this secret area
-Seagull "trick" in Jukebox
-and of course...Captain Blackeye text about water...
After Bottles'Revenge discovery Rare said on Scribes(March 2005) that guys at RWP has come PRETTY CLOSE to solving Stop N Swop...
I believe that Stop N Swop WORKS and this will unlock Bottles'Revenge in Banjo-Tooie legally-without GS code.

I believe in all those statements in your posts, especially the one with Rare's Banjo team games revealing SNS part by part. It's very possible, seeing as GBTG had some SNS cameos.
I really wondered about the Ridiciously Secret Areas, which are proven real. I saw a picture somewhere in RWP that showed those Areas, but I just can't remember where in the site they were. Maybe it was in another site; I'm gonna look for it!

Otacon, me, and a couple of other members from the RWP forums are gonna be coming together to perform a massive search through DK64, in areas that we think others may have missed. Anyone with a gameshark and coding skills is welcome. We need all the help we can get. If you are interested. PM Otacon on the RWP forums.
Here is what the plan is:
1. Gathering up all theories of SNS from BT and DK64
2. Discard
2. Searching Step by Step through DK64
3. If nothing is found move on to BT.
4. Search through BT code step by step.
5. Release findings to public
The reason we search DK64 first is that the code is less complex and there are more clues suggesting that SNS had to do with it. After searching through DK64 we begin a search through BT. This way we knock out the easy stuff first.

I actually find this interesting cuz I have not been playing Banjo Kazooie for all that long and had never even heard of this until now but I mus say its got my coursity sparked for sure. I did have a question though and forgive me if this sounds noobish on my part....I read on another overview on stop N' Swop that the eggs you find when you raise the island and the one you find by opening the door in the dessert that these you can't access by normal game play? I don't know if this is true or un true this was just what I had read on another forum if that is actually the case then how do you get the items? do you have to use something like gameshark or something to help you....I am actually going to head down to my basement and go check out the codes and see if I can get to actually work my cousity is far to peaked now not to try it out.

Well welcome to Rare-Extreme, Because SNS was a abandon project you can't get the items by normal game play. but there are codes Gameshark codes that i can't rember right now. & Sandcastle (debug) codes of which i do have but first note the key & eggs have no use because SNS is an abandon project
Warning once you have just one of the items the only way to get rid of them is a gameshark code. Deleting your files will not help! Altho the SNS menu will not affect the game other that appearing in the start screen
Note Enter "CHEAT" before each code.

It's because you did it on the 3rd file, and if you deleted the file in which you did it in, the whole thing is as if it didn't happen. By the way, all the codes are on the first page.

Stop n Swop is in nuts and Bolts!!! You need Banjo - Kazooie the original from xbox live arcade. You then go into that game, find a stop n swop egg, then go into your nuts and bolts game and it will have a cutscene in which a crate will appear with a secret item!
