Whats the scariest game you have ever played (could be for any console)

Mine is Enternal Darknes for the GC, it really was quite a disturbing game with the baby crying in the background effect as you play the game and the camera angle tilts as a zombie gets you.

I've never played any "spooky" themed games. Very little of Resident Evil 1 and 3. So I guess mine would have to be Luigi's Mansion!

Yeah, there isn't really a scary game but if u play Resident Evil in the late night and in the basement. After playing for at leaast 1 hour and then turm off the light and close the door and start thinking about the game! God! Its scary!

I'm sure it is! I've always wanted to play the RE games. Maybe I will one day...

mine is silent hill 3 i pissed myself when all those zombies popped out

system shock 2. hands down. seriously all those games are fine, but system shock 2 is by far the scariest game ever.

anyways its so scary, I was playin at like 11:00PM at night and I got so far in 1 level without facin a single monster, and the there is no sound, just grasshopper noises and im in the middle of a city. Then all of a sudden, the building in front of me just falls into the ground, scary as hell cuz im right in front, then all of these zombies bust out of all the windows and jump on me. So I totally freak out, and a little after that, Im inside the president's office and he's webbed up at the ceiling of the room and as soon as i get him down......... This giant thing hits me on the back and I fly into the wall, the controller rumbles like crazy and the noise is very loud. Damn that game's scary. U never notice anything. Though most games dont scare me, this one does! if only i could remember the name...

resident evil is scaryer than silent hill to me, simply becuase you have to conserve bullets (im not very good at at, so i end up half the time with none ) silent hill however, ive got my board with a nail in it=infinite ammo WHAHAAHAHA! gotta love melee

well i get scared easily so "the haunted mansion" might scare me

None really..... Games arent meant to scare you but that Haunted Mansion in the arcade is Freaky specially the part where Franko comes out with a Chainsaw outta nowhere

I get scared with Mario Sunshine when you have to do those Mini Games without FLUDD

I think I once had a dream (or nightmare) that included that ghost Pokemon that keeps popping up in RBY if you don't have the Silph thing. That Pokemon was freaky.

The scarest game would probably be Luigi's Mansion, although that didn't scare me.

Banchy Baldwalk was scary because for most of the track you'd end up in the water if you don't pay attention and then the cheep cheep came out

I have never played ANY resident evil game, why do you say its so scary?

You hear Zonbies walking around everywhere, its dull, mainly nighttime, you dont know what you're getting yourself into, one day you could be owning zombies, the next you could be one :\

Reaisent Evil for Gamecube. I always think I'll get caught by those dang zombies!

The Ocean Hunter is just very realistic for an underwater shooter. If you had the opportunity to play it int he dark without all fo that noise from the other machines you would hear this eeerie yet relazing music and the sound of your diver breathing. Sea Monsters pop out from behind you and stick your big mouths right in your face! This is one of the best games I've ever played and truly one of the scariest. Don't believe me? Try taking on a huge Megalodon shark by the name of Leviathan at the bottom of the sea and be amazed as he sticks his HUGE mouth right in your face!!! An amazing game with excellent graphics! If you ever see it at your local arcade or anywhere ignore the price of 50 cents to a dollar. You must play it! Sega created it...

the alone in the dark game for the 3DO was scary enough to make me want to stop playing video games forever.

but system shock 2 is still the scariest

Resident evil and turok are very scary to me. I dunno about anyone else.

phantasmagoria 2 for the pc was very scary.And night trap seemed more like a comedy game than a survival horror game

K, i was playin this game-Once again I dunno the name buts its an OLD OLD game and the controls are freaky. Wutever, your sent in to some infested church to take out the undead and its all easy. Then these things come from nowhere and strangle me and I die, scared the crap outta me. They were invisible til I learned ya had to go in that room last lol.

RE 4 will problably be the scariest game ever.

Grabbed by the ghoulies! I have never played a game as scary as that! I was so scared that I was forced to sell my x-box and buy a gamecube that has less scary games! And no, I am not sarcastic at all!

He's definitely not being sarcastic, and neither am I. In fact, I nearly shat myself when I first played Grabbed by the Ghoulies. The imps are so realistic and scary!

The ninja imps scared me so much I couldn't play Banjo Kazooie for a month, because it had Jinjos in it! And, as everyone will tell you, they're almost the same thing(even though supposedly they aren't). Although, in actuallity, the most scared I've ever been in a video game is Zelda 64, Ocarina of Time. It was around 11:00 PM, and I had just broken into the grave, and I saw the ReDeads. They didn't scare me, but then one screamed, and I couldn't move, and then it humped me! I freaked out and ran into the next room. Wow, that's kinda pathetic, isn't it? Oh well. Horror games aren't actually that scary to me. Banshee Boardwalk didn't scare me as much as getting crushed by the giant egg or getting run over in aan 18-wheeler in Yoshi Valley and Toad's Turnpike did. Surprisingly, the only sarcastic part was the beginning, with the Jinjo-Imps.

Now playing eternal darkness around 2:00 am and you sanity is low.
that enough to make someone really insane.

I'll tell you whats scary when you are playing Manhunt and thugs pop out of corners and scream! Then you have to run as fast as you can, or the lights go out!

In Eternal Darkness in the bathroom on the second floor, when you go near the bath it is empty but the camera zooms in very fast and you see a dead women in there with blood around her it made me jump

Clock Tower 3 is pretty scary too. Serial killers chase you and you have to hide
